Although there are no identified locations that offer PEP in your area,
most emergency departments and urgent care clinics can prescribe PEP.
PEP must be started within 72 hours of suspected exposure to HIV.
The sooner you seek PEP, the better.
Remember to advocate for yourself and reference the
National Clinicians Consultation Center website or phone
(1-888-448-4911),
or local Public Health District, when requesting PEP from a provider that does not seem comfortable prescribing.
